Chad Daybell Gerichtsurteil

Chad Daybell Found Guilty of Murdering First Wife and Stepchildren

Jury Delivers Verdict After Nearly Two-Month Trial

A guilty verdict has been reached in the trial of Chad Daybell, who was accused of murdering his ex-wife Tammy Daybell and his stepchildren Joshua "JJ" Vallow and Tylee Ryan.

After nearly two months of testimony and deliberation, the jury returned the verdict on Thursday afternoon. Daybell was found guilty of multiple counts of first-degree murder.

The charges stem from the deaths of Daybell's ex-wife Tammy, who was found dead in her home in October 2019, and his stepchildren JJ and Tylee, who were reported missing in September 2019 and whose remains were later discovered.

The trial has been closely followed due to its bizarre and disturbing circumstances. Prosecutors alleged that Daybell and his current wife, Lori Vallow, planned and executed the murders as part of a religious belief that they were preparing for the second coming of Christ.

The verdict represents a major victory for the prosecution and a significant step towards justice for the victims and their families.
