Mohamed Salah scored the only goal as Liverpool beat Manchester City 1-0 to move top of the Premier League table.
The Egyptian forward raced onto a long pass from Alisson Becker and lobbed the ball over the advancing Ederson for his 10th goal of the season.
Liverpool had the better of the chances throughout the game, with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino both going close before Salah's winner.
Manchester City had a few chances of their own, with Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus both testing Alisson, but they were unable to find an equalizer.
The win moves Liverpool two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
